is an annual simulation of the United Nations facilitated by the Tallinna Saksa Gümnaasium in Tallinn. A Model United Nations or short “MUN” is a simulation of the United Nations in which students represent different countries as delegates. During the conference, the delegates work in committees that are assigned and devoted to certain issues to be resolved. The goal of the conference is to come up with resolutions, in other words, a solution to tackle these issues, which in the end will be voted on in the General Assembly, a collection of all participating delegates. The official language of the conference is English and all various issues will be debated according to actual UN procedures.
The next conference, MUNOT 2025, will take place in Spring 2025.
As MUNOT is an annual international event, delegates all around the world take part in our conference. For example, we have had delegates from Pakistan, Denmark, Germany and many International and European Schools.
